The Mountain and Trail Running World Championships took place from 6 to 10 June 2023 in Innsbruck and the Stubai Valley. More than 1,500 athletes from over 64 countries competed for world titles in four disciplines: Vertical, Trail Short, Trail Long and Mountain Classic.
45 kilometres through the Tyrolean Alps
The Kleine Zeitung report focuses on the Trail Long distance: 45 demanding kilometres through the Tyrolean mountains. As an athlete from Lower Austria, lining up at a home World Championships was a special experience.
